Every year Shafer’s sister Lindsey and her husband Jon throw a big Halloween party. We’ve been so bummed the last two years living away to miss it, so we were thrilled to be able to go on Saturday. They always have a theme for the party, (past parties have been cowboys and Indians, pirates, and Italian mobsters). Apparently last year’s theme was trailer trash, so this year they decided to have a really fancy party. They dressed up really glamorous and had really fancy appetizers and food. We walked into the house on a big red carpet to classical music playing. It was so much fun!
Everyone always has good costumes, so you don’t have to worry about coming over dressed!
Here’s Shafer and me before the party, I never got a good shot of us together, but you get the idea. We got Shafer’s boy scout uniform from my brother Todd’s closet, Thanks Todd!
Big Boy and Cheeks also borrowed their costumes, but from my nephew Mr. A. Thanks again Mom for helping turn Cheeks' shirt from a 4T to a 2T, you’re amazing!
Here’s Jon and Lindsey in their fancy gear, Fabulous!! Abby is due any day now and said she only had Capri pants or Sunday dresses, so she gussied up a dress and became Spring! Matt was a Blues Brother complete with harmonica!
We also had some celebrity guests as Brad and Angelina stopped by with Knox and Vivienne! Brent actually bleached his hair for it!
We never actually got Baby M into his puppy costume, but sitting next to Vivienne, he could have been Knox!
I didn’t get pictures of everyone, but we had several superheroes, a tiger, Indiana Jones, a Spanish dancer, a Hawaiian dancer, fairies, a vampire, Snow White, etc. It was so much fun! Thanks Jon and Lindsey!

That looks awesome! I love your costume!
Great costumes. We feel like we're in the same boat now not being able to attend the infamous Geertsen Halloween party. We still had a lot of fun but look forward to next years party!
You're always so festive. I love it. Your baby is so cute and I like your haircut! It's good to see your blog. You do a great job with it.
