The Armor of God

For a quick FHE lesson we talked about putting on the Armor of God.  When we lived in New Jersey Shafer taught early morning seminary and we made up some armor using things around the house and covering them in tin foil to use in his class.  To make it easier on ourselves with 4 boys who like dressing up we just didn't use the tinfoil.  Winter hats as helmets, batman capes as breastplates, light sabers as swords, boots to 'shod their feet,' backpacks as shields, and scarves to 'gird their loins.'  It was great and they loved dressing up!

Then Shafer and I took turns throwing fiery darts (rolled up gloves) while they protected themselves with their armor.  They loved it and probably could have gone on all night.  Hopefully they remember some of the lesson as well!
