Fun on the Polar Express

We headed to Lindon to the train man's again.  This time to ride the Polar Express.  The people running the show said we made a record; the most people ever to ride on one train!  Go team Taylor!

It was a little squishy, but it was fun to all be on the same train.

Little Puppy did not like being put on Santa's lap!

Cheeks always looks bewildered and doesn't know what to say when he's asked what he wants for Christmas.

Big Boy is always ready to tell the big guy what he wants!

Monkey is still a little hesitant about the whole situation, but he enjoyed the candy cane at the end.

Puppy also cheered up after he was given his candy cane!
This has been a really fun tradition every year.  My favorite part is after they see Santa, he asks everyone to be really quiet and they listen, it's a miracle!  Then he tells them to pay close attention during the rest of the train ride and to look closely at the pictures.  He had us sing Silent Night as we walked out of the house.  Then you get back on the train and there are big pictures depicting the Savior's life with some beautiful music.  The mood changes quickly as the kids are reverent and look closely at the pictures.  It's such a good reminder to the kids about the true meaning of Christmas!
