Puppy turns 2!!

Puppy turned 2 last month.  He has seemed like such a big boy the last few months.  He's not a baby anymore, that's for sure!  He had a fun morning opening up some presents and spilling mini M&M's all over the kitchen multiple times.  We got him a little chair to put out on the deck and he spent the whole morning sitting in it and yelling at anyone who got close, or tried to sit in it, or looked like they might possibly do either of those things.

He was a little king on his throne all morning.

That evening we headed up to my parent's house for pizza and cake.  There were balloons as well, which took the party to a whole new level!

Birthday love from Daddy!

Here's the face he makes anytime a camera is near:

At this point Grandma Mimi was trying to help him eat his cake, but he would have none of it.  He wants to do everything by himself.  On another note, look at that cute face on Baby P.  Todd and Kara are moving their cute family down to AZ as I type.  We were trying to get together with them as much as possible before they moved.  We're going to miss them, but we're so excited for them and for another reason for us to go to AZ this winter for a visit!  :)

Spiderman wanted in on this picture as well.  We enjoyed the evening watching Puppy open up some presents and letting the kids have fun with their cousins.
It was a nice day for Puppy.  I love the first few birthdays because they're so stress-free.  No party planning and really not a lot of thought needs to go into present buying because they're pretty much happy with anything and they don't even really know what a birthday is.
Now for the next few months, until Monkey's birthday, my boys' ages are 2, 4, 6, 8!  How fun is that?!
We love our little Puppy.  He definitely has a strong will and a strong personality.  But, for the most part he's a lot of fun and super cute.  Every time he says anything we just about die laughing, it's so cute.  He wants to be right in the thick of things with his big brothers.  He wants to be outside at all times.  We got a trampoline a few months ago and he's out bouncing on it all the time.
I'll ditto all my past birthday posts by saying how fast time has flown since he was born.  I still think of myself as having a baby, but he's really not a baby anymore.  I still sit and kiss those cheeks all day long though, but luckily he doesn't seem to mind!  :)
