We tried to fit a few fun things in before school got fully under way. We spent one Saturday up at Deer Creek hanging out at the beach and swimming. It was a lot of fun. We went with some friends from our ward. The boys loved the beach and I loved the view, it's gorgeous up there! Our only problem was the wind! Our beach ball immediately blew away never to be seen again. Along with all the other blow up toys on the beach! Right when we were feeling ready to go a big storm rolled in and hurried us on our way!
On Labor day we did the Donut Falls hike. We kept hearing about how it was such a great hike for kids, and it really was. The only problem was that we were there with everyone else in Utah! We were lucky to be able to find a parking spot closer to the trail head.
Shafer and the boys hiked all the way up to the falls and inside. I stayed back with Puppy and threw rocks in the stream. It was such a nice day. I'd love to go back and do it again on a less busy day!
