Thanksgiving week was insane this year. Shafer took most of the week off, and my brother and his family were up from AZ, so it was one party after another. We ended up traveling to some get together every night of the week.
It was my Dad's birthday that week, so we had a little dinner for him. Here he's reading his birthday cards and adding in some funny tidbits:
My Dad requested peach cobbler instead of cake, it was delish:
It's always fun to see the cousins reacquaint themselves. I sure have some cute nieces!
One night we invited everyone our way to save us another long car ride. We decided to do a talent night. It was fun to see what everyone came up with. Unfortunately there are no pictures of me or my family doing our talents. Here's my Mom doing what she does best, teaching her grand kids. They sang a cute song.
Steve and his family sang and danced to a cute song about Thanksgiving:
Em told a cute story where you cut a paper and it ends up being a jack-o-lantern:
My Dad doing his clappy hand thing:
I played a song on the piano, Shafer did some hilarious impressions, Big Boy and Cheeks ran fast, and Monkey told a ghost story totally out of the blue that had my doing my best to hold back laughter because it was so darn cute!

We were also able to get everyone in the same room for a family picture. We needed a shot with the new babies. Aren't we cute?! Now we just need to get Andrew's boys in the shot next time so we can frame the picture!!
Then we had a great Thanksgiving with the Taylor family, I'll post about that next!
