We were worried about going to the zoo Thursday since it was supposed to rain (surprise, surprise!). But, it ended up being a perfect day for it. It was actually fairly crowded.
Does anyone else who grew up in Utah have this exact picture from when you were a kid? Ya gotta love this drinking fountain!

We were so glad Kara was able to meet up with us even though Todd couldn't come! This was her first trip (in her memory) to Hogle Zoo, I think it was a good one!

We asked for some ice cream in a cup for Big Boy since he can't have a cone; apparently they didn't realize we needed it for a 4 year old, his was at least 3 times as much as everyone else got!

I was actually really impressed with the zoo. It's been years since I've been there and they've made some excellent improvements!
After the zoo we headed to Emily's for a BBQ it was another fun-filled day!
