We spent some time over at the Smith and Moorehouse reservoir during our Cabin trip. The last day there we found a really great spot by a creek where the kids could throw rocks. 
Shafer and my Dad refreshed their rock-skipping skills. They were both really good:

Apparently I don't have a picture of it, but Shafer and I canoed across the whole reservoir. It didn't seem like it would be that big of a trek, but looks were deceiving in this situation. My arms were aching by the time we reached the docking area. But, we did it, so that's something cool we can tell people, right?
