Polar Express

Okay, so here are some more Santa pictures, as if you haven't seen enough, right?! Oh, well, this blog is for me to remember what we did this year too.
My Father-in-law has a friend in Lindon with an awesome train in his backyard. We've been there in the summer, at Halloween when it's set up like a spook alley, and now we've been at Christmas when it's set up like the Polar Express. Half-way through the train ride you stop at the North Pole and get to see Santa. Here's Monkey:

The room Santa was in was set up really cute with a little train set and all kinds of toys and Christmas trees, the kids loved it!

As we left Santa asked us to make sure to pay attention during the rest of the ride and we left singing Silent Night. It was really sweet.

Getting back on the train after the North Pole:
The rest of the ride there had more spiritual Christmas music playing while we rode by large pictures depicting Christ's life starting at the manger. I thought it was great how they celebrated both the fun Santa side of Christmas, but ended with the true meaning of Christmas! The Santa also handed out candy canes with pass-along cards attached!

It was a fun night and a great activity! We ended up at Arctic Circle where the 25 cousins took over the play land and the adults got to visit, it was great!
