Christmas Eve

We were so lucky to have Shafer's parents stay with us Christmas Eve. The knowledge that they were sleeping over kept the boys extra excited (if that was even possible!) the week leading up to Christmas! Shafer's brother and his wife and sweet daughter came over for dinner as well.
The evening started out with lots of food. The boys couldn't help but continue sampling:

Shafer was the french fry fryer for the night:We even fit in an episode of Seinfeld before It's a Wonderful Life came on:
We then had the little ones reenact the Nativity for us while Shafer read the account from Luke:
Then we sang many a Christmas carol. Those Taylor men can SING!!
The boys opened up their Christmas jammies and looked so cute (and a little hyper!):
Then Santa came and I was able to snap this picture before the boys woke up:
It was such a lovely evening and it was so nice to be home and not have to drive anywhere! More on Christmas morning to come...
