I love watching my boys' faces as they see what Santa brought, it's one of the best moments of the year!
Christmas morning was even more fun with a bigger audience to watch them open gifts. We're so glad Granny and Grandpa were able to be there!
The big gift this year was a set of GeoTrax. Big Boy had asked Santa for this every time he saw him. We were pleasantly surprised at how well they all played with it together. There was very little fighting...that morning. :)
There was also a slide that has already become a favorite!
Monkey would have been happy to just get a candy cane, forget about all those presents under the tree!!
Granny and Grandpa gave each of the boys their own gospel art picture book with their name on it. They have loved them. Big Boy especially will sit down with it and look at each picture and ask about the story. He'll even read it while sliding:
Here's the final mess of the morning:
You'll notice my big gift in the picture above; a steam mop! Isn't it funny what kind of presents we get excited about as we get older? Shafer's big present was a dart board to add to his man cave downstairs.
We had a really nice morning relaxing and letting the boys play with all the new loot.
More on Christmas day to come...
