We celebrated Shafer's 30th birthday this month. It seems like such a big milestone! I can't believe I'm married to someone in their 30's! That means I'm next!!!!
Luckily his birthday was on a Saturday, so I let him sleep in as much as possible. I made him a big breakfast during which time the boys repeatedly asked when Daddy could open his presents. When we were finally done eating the boys 'helped' him open his presents. 
We went out shopping for a bit to let Shafer spend some of his birthday money. Then we met up with Shafer's siblings and their spouses for dinner at Red Lobster. It was yummy and we had a good time hanging out without kids!!!
