A quick trip to see the elves

It was a Saturday night in December and we had no plans, no holiday parties, no church activities, and no ideas. We decided to go find some Christmas lights for the kids to see, but didn't want the hassle of say, Temple Square. So, we went to Gardner village. I was surprised at how not busy it was. It was pretty cold, so maybe that's why! It made for a quick trip, but that was fine by me!

As you can see they must have left some Halloween decor up as we have pictured here a decapitated elf. Shafer told the boys he must have laughed his head off. We were chuckling, but the boys were staring wide-eyed, so we quickly moved along to...

The giant candy canes that Cheeks decided to taste. He didn't seem discouraged by their lack of minty flavor!

Shafer and the elf were having a good time, but that's as close as I could get Big Boy to sit by him.

Monkey was not impressed with any of it!

Ah, Gardner Village a good and free stand-by activity!
