Shafer's Grandma wrote a children's book years ago that she would read to her grandchildren. Her daughter is an artist and she illustrated some pictures for the book. For Christmas this year Granny gave each of her grandchildren a copy of the book. We were so excited to have a copy to read to our boys! 
Last week in Big Boy's preschool they were learning about the letter P so he brought Purrcilla for show and tell.
His teacher decided to read it to the class for book time! We love the story and we're so grateful to have this piece of family history in our home!
