We intended to go in to see only one place on our second day in Yellowstone, but of course we ended up staying much longer. It's just too pretty there!! Our first stop was Gibbon Falls. They recently did some major construction here and now you can actually stop and look around instead of just glancing at it as you drive by. The kids mostly liked the landscaping rocks that they could climb on:

Can you tell there were multiple cameras taking this shot?
The next stop was Norris Geyser Basin and my family and Steve's family ended up staying longer than the rest of the group so we could hike around a bit more. Here's the boys with my cute nieces:
They did not enjoy the smell:
We saw this fresh bear print near one of the hot pots. I hope the bear was long gone by the time we got there:
Another cute shot of the kids and a random stranger:
The last stop was the Artist Paint Pots. We usually drive right past this one, but I was glad we stopped because the kids loved it. The mud was just flying into the air, it was great! The kids were calling it popcorn because it was white. I could just sit and watch it all day, it's very mesmerizing!!
We were so tired by the end of this day, we were glad to be back on the road to the cabins!
